Snacks are an important part and an essential component of daily food intake. However, the most important is the missing words 'Healthy' from snacks that are consumed daily by many people especially those who have hectic lifestyles. Healthy snacks not only provide extra nutrients but also restrict our unnecessary intake of extra calories, which ultimately affect our vitality. Healthy snacks should be invariably consumed in between the meals to keep us healthy and energetic for the rest of the day.













Healthy snacks should ideally contain fresh fruits, vegetables, unsalted and plain nuts and cereal grains, among other. You will save lot of money on buying junk food, which are exorbitantly costly yet lacking essential nutrients. You should use fiber-rich wholemeal bread. Use dried banana chips instead of high-cholesterol potato crisps. Instead of eating fat-rich snacks like pastries, hamburgers and pizzas, try eating fresh fruits or fruit juices without any sweetener.
